While Yin & Yang marks Unis Brands’ initial launch of a collection, his experience in the world of sneakers is already impressive. While working as a retail sales associate at a shoe store in his teens, Unis would buy, customize, and upsell designer sneakers, eventually collaborating with rapper Riff Raff to create a pair that would earn him a million-dollar auction bid.

Unlike the traditional sneaker production process, Yin & Yang are made using Unis’ own recycling machine that converts plastic from recycled water bottles into soft, malleable filament. The filament is then fed through 3D printers that Unis assembled and programmed to print his one-of-a-kind sneakers.

At Sustainable New York Fashion Week, Unis Brands presented their introductory sustainable sneaker collection, and attendees got a chance to see the shoes debuted on the runway and as well as a first hand look at their revolutionary production process. A limited-edition of Yin & Yang sneakers are available for the public to purchase online.

Unis Brands is a premium sustainable sneaker brand that uses unconventional and customizable production processes to create environmentally conscious sneakers with a fresh and innovative style and ergonomic fit.
