To celebrate Black Business Month, Atlanta-based entrepreneurs Tisha Thompson of LYS Beauty and Lindsay Barnette of Kultured Misfits, announce a three-piece capsule collection, “Love Letters.”

LYS Beauty, the first Black-owned clean cosmetics brand at Sephora, and Kultured Misfits, an emerging premium unisex streetwear brand housed at retailers such as the prestigious WISHATL have combined their sense of style, love of culture, and a subtle homage to Black Greek life within the drop of this capsule.

"I'm thrilled to collaborate with Lindsay and Kultured Misfits to celebrate Black Business Month with the "Love Letters" launch," said Tisha Thompson, Founder and CEO of LYS Beauty. "Both LYS Beauty and Kultured Misfits are on a steadfast mission to arm the next generation with a level of self-confidence and compassion that positively shifts how they show up in the world. These collections of everyday pieces serve as a reminder to oneself and align with everything we preach as mission-based brands.”

The “Love Letters” collaboration will act as the first-in-line, women-only offering from Kultured Misfits. It will serve as a love letter for all who wear the styles and was designed with women in mind, from comfort to flattery.

"I'm very proud to be partnering with LYS Beauty on this "Love Letters" collection. We are two Black-owned brands coming together to encourage people to be who they are authentically; to "Love Your Self" and be reminded "We Were Never Meant To Fit In," said Lindsay Barnette, Founder and Creative Director of Kultured Misfits. "For Kultured Misfits, each collection is driven by our commitment to our mission, the love for the details and the meaning behind each piece that allows us to connect to our community and I've seen LYS Beauty do the same in the beauty category, which made this feel like an important and unique partnership for us. And this feels like just the beginning.”

The limited edition capsule drops on August 31st, with inclusive sizing, and was thoughtfully designed marrying the mantras of Love Your Self and We Were Never Meant to Fit In. It will be sold exclusively at kulturedmisfits.com and lysbeauty.com

LYS BEAUTY was founded by Tisha Thompson in February 2021 with the mission to dispel the myth that clean beauty, deep shade ranges and high-performance products, at an affordable cost, cannot coexist.
