With the launch of its latest fragrance, ATLAS [00:00 GMT], TUMI is turning back the clock for a fresh start in the world, as the time stamp in its name suggests. Teaming with the Fragrance Group, developed as the exclusive US distributor for a curated selection of prestige specialty fragrances, TUMI hosted a night to remember, co-lead by Victor Sanz, TUMI’s Creative Director, and GQ Insider and influencer Bryan Griffin. The venue was filled with media, notable tastemakers, influencers, and models who all brought a sense of flair and style to the backdrop of the NYC night sky and towering skyscrapers.

Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at the Peak restaurant atop the Hudson Yards, a private event for the ATLAS [00:00 GMT] fragrance, and guests came to experience the views and skyline that inspire an entire world. The [00:00 GMT] timestamp reflects TUMI’s appreciation for every personal journey and discovery that we endure to perform at our peaks, and the herbaceous flower installation spoke to the natural ingredients that have been meticulously chosen for the scent.

Drinks were served, with TUMI-inspired cocktails by Peak, along with small bites and music by DJ Timo Weiland. Guest indulged in music and spirits while getting to smell the notes of the ATLAS [00:00] at stationed testing locations within the party, offering a real-time aromatic experience. Hit with notes of citrus found all over the globe, the latest TUMI fragrance is bright and full of energizing aromas for taking you from day tonight. The scent is a blend of Italian bergamot, and Florida grapefruit, together with notes of amber wood that are balanced by labdanum, geranium, and ginger. There is also the smoky feel of Javanese vetiver and Haitian vetiver, creating a contrast in the aromas. ATLAS [00:00 GMT] also bottles the Indian sandalwood and some moss adding depth to the layers of scents.

“TUMI has been incredible. It’s been a hell-of-a two years.” says the long-time creative director, Victor Sanz, who spoke with a group at a dinner for the ATLAS [00:00 GMT] fragrance. “I know everyone has been in ‘it’ and I know speaking to all of you - you’re very eager to get back into the mode of travel, [and] get back out there. Sanz continues, “as I travel around the world I always embrace what it has to give me; everything from the food, the culture, [all] the inspirations.
