Wedding Season Ready: Watters Launches Fall '19 Collections in New York
Watters, a global leader in the bridal industry, is pleased to debut imaginative new collections of bridal gowns and special occasion dresses for F/W 2020 by its three brands: Watters, Wtoo by Watters and Willow by Watters.
Titled The Sun Was Shining on the Sea, the Watters 2020 Collection draws inspiration from Lewis Carroll’s narrative poem, The Walrus and the Carpenter, which appears in the book, Through the Looking Glass. Captivating gowns in shades of Ivory and Nude add dimension to the dresses and pay homage to textured dunes found along the Oregon coast. A dusting of beautiful pearl detailing and beading are design elements that make recurring appearances throughout.
As part of the debut of the Fl/W 2020 Collection, Watters is proud to introduce a new line of bridesmaids dresses for the season. Featuring gowns in sleek and elegant silhouettes, in this collection, comfort is key. Working in a new fabric exclusive to the collection called Ballad crepe, dresses are luxurious to the touch with beautiful stretch allowing for movement and figure flattering qualities.
Named Think Pink, the Wtoo by Watters F/W 2020 Collection is a representation of sisterhood and true friendship. Brides can expect to see dresses in beautiful shades of blush, feminine floral motifs and intricate lace detailing. Clean lines add a modern touch while novel ball skirts and sheer, corseted bodices offer an elegant body-‐contouring effect for a nod to traditional bridal style.
Designed with the wedding reception in mind, Wtoo by Watters’ collection of bridesmaids dresses is vibrant and refreshing with color-‐mixing tulle and playful ruffles and skirts. Available in new colorways including Sage and Dusty Lilac, silhouettes are fun, feminine and chic.
Willowby by Watters “Love Her Madly” Collection is a perfect representation of the optimism that came out of the formative 1970’s decade. A period of love and togetherness, the line is symbolic of the free-‐ spirited bride-‐to-‐be that appreciates uniqueness, stands for what she believes in and isn’t afraid of color! Iridescent hues create a strong color story in the collection and are complemented by oversized floral motifs, thoughtfully placed lace appliques and novelty fabrications. A beautiful marriage of textures, fabrics and embroideries, each gown was designed to enhance a bride’s natural beauty.
