Hublot at LVMH Watch Week Milan: Engineering the Future of Contemporary Haute Horlogerie
By PAGE Editor
As LVMH Watch Week opens in the heart of Milan, Hublot takes center stage from its prestigious address on Via Montenapoleone, reaffirming its position as one of the most forward-thinking forces in contemporary watchmaking. Rooted in technical audacity, radical material innovation, and culturally resonant collaborations, Hublot’s first releases of the year do more than introduce new timepieces — they set a definitive tone for the industry at large.
From tributes to sporting greatness and milestones of horological heritage, to experimental design partnerships and refined chromatic explorations, Hublot’s 2026 lineup is a masterclass in its Art of Fusion philosophy.
Big Bang Tourbillon Novak Djokovic GOAT Edition
A Tribute to the Greatest of All Time
At the heart of this year’s unveiling stands a deeply symbolic and technically inventive trilogy: the Big Bang Tourbillon Novak Djokovic GOAT Edition. Created in honor of Hublot Ambassador Novak Djokovic — widely regarded as the greatest tennis player in history — the collection celebrates an unparalleled career marked by 24 Grand Slam titles and a record 428 weeks as world number one.
Limited to just 101 pieces, the trilogy is divided into three distinct colorways: blue (72 pieces) for hard courts, orange (21 pieces) for clay, and green (8 pieces) for grass — a chromatic tribute to Djokovic’s dominance across all surfaces.
The 44mm case represents a breakthrough in sustainable material innovation, crafted from a proprietary Hublot composite incorporating Lacoste polo shirts and HEAD tennis racquets, while the mid-case is constructed from ultra-resistant Titaplast®. Inside, the MHUB6035 automatic tourbillon movement reveals a sculptural, three-dimensional mainplate inspired by tennis racquet strings, complete with a power reserve barrel shaped like a tennis ball.
Details are both playful and precise: a white leather strap echoing racquet grips, tennis ball–shaped titanium screws, and an ultra-light total weight of just 56 grams, ensuring durability even during play. This is not merely a commemorative watch — it is a wearable manifesto of performance, resilience, and greatness.
Big Bang Original Unico
Twenty Years in the Making
To mark the 20th anniversary of the Big Bang, Hublot introduces the Big Bang Original Unico, a refined evolution of its most iconic design. Bridging past and present, the watch pairs the unmistakable Big Bang aesthetic with the brand’s in-house Unico chronograph caliber, renowned for its five patented innovations.
The case has been subtly resized to 43mm, enhancing comfort and versatility, while a sapphire crystal caseback now reveals the movement in full. Softer finishes, curved lugs, a rubber-clad crown, and rectangular pushers with rubber inserts further elevate ergonomics and wearability.
The dial introduces greater depth through a carbon-pattern illusion and lifted counters, complemented by a newly engineered strap featuring Hublot’s One Click interchangeability system. Available in four executions — Black Magic, Titanium, Titanium Ceramic, and King Gold Ceramic — the Big Bang Original Unico stands as a confident expression of two decades of material mastery and design evolution.
Big Bang Unico SR_A
Industrial Design Meets Manufacture Precision
With the Big Bang Unico SR_A, Hublot and British designer Samuel Ross enter a new phase of their collaboration. For the first time, Ross’s industrial design language converges with the Unico Manufacture movement, resulting in a chronograph that is both expressive and accessible.
Limited to 200 pieces, the watch features a 42mm black ceramic case with satin-finished and polished surfaces, emphasizing the modular geometry intrinsic to the Big Bang line. A newly developed honeycomb-textured rubber strap reinforces the industrial narrative while offering contemporary comfort.
This monochrome execution refines the visual vocabulary established by previous SR_A tourbillon editions, distilling it into a sleek, stripped-back aesthetic. The result is a watch that balances experimental design with everyday wearability — an evolution rooted in structure, material innovation, and modern industrial codes.
Big Bang & Spirit of Big Bang
Coal Blue: A New Chromatic Identity
Hublot expands its color universe with the introduction of “coal blue”, an exclusive shade developed specifically for the Big Bang and Spirit of Big Bang families. Far removed from traditional blues, coal blue reveals a stormy, mineral depth — blending gray, black, and saturated blue tones that shift subtly with the light.
This new hue debuts across four references, including the 43mm Big Bang Original Unico and the 42mm Spirit of Big Bang, each featuring a solid dial adorned with geometric patterns inspired by carbon fiber. Alternating satin and polished squares create a three-dimensional effect, adding depth and architectural presence.
The Big Bang Original Unico houses the Unico flyback chronograph caliber with a three-day power reserve, while the Spirit of Big Bang is powered by the high-frequency HUB4700 movement, beating at 5 Hz. Unified by titanium cases, rubber straps, One Click systems, and Hublot’s signature six functional “H” screws, these models reaffirm the brand’s commitment to chromatic innovation and technical excellence.
Classic Fusion
Sage Green: A Contemporary Soft Power
Hublot’s Classic Fusion collection embraces contemporary fashion sensibilities with the introduction of sage green, a pastel hue that is at once fresh, elegant, and understated. Since 1980, Hublot has thrived at the intersection of trend and tradition, and this latest color story exemplifies that ethos.
Presented across three models — 33mm, 42mm, and 45mm — the uncluttered Classic Fusion dial provides an expansive canvas for the color to resonate. The 33mm version features a diamond-set bezel, adding a touch of refinement; the 42mm offers minimalist purity with a textured rubber strap reminiscent of Milanese mesh; and the 45mm marks Hublot’s first sage green chronograph, pairing sporty function with a soft, contemporary palette.
Each piece highlights harmony between dial, case, and strap, reinforcing the Classic Fusion’s role as a bridge between fashion and Swiss watchmaking.
Classic Fusion Chronograph
UEFA Europa League Titanium Carbon
Hublot’s long-standing love affair with football continues with the Classic Fusion Chronograph UEFA Europa League Titanium Carbon, a limited edition of 50 unique pieces commemorating the brand’s sponsorship of the UEFA Europa League since 2015.
Each watch features a carbon fiber bezel inlaid with orange fiberglass, ensuring no two pieces are alike due to the randomness of the material composition. The 42mm grade 5 titanium case, finished in polished and satin surfaces, is paired with a black rubber strap for a modern, sporty profile.
Powered by the HUB1153 automatic chronograph movement, the watch proudly displays the UEFA Europa League logo on both the dial and caseback. A miniature replica of the Europa League trophy accompanies each piece, reinforcing its status as a true collector’s item — where sport, craftsmanship, and emotion converge.
A Defining Moment for 2026
From Milan, Hublot delivers a bold opening statement for the year ahead. Each creation — whether rooted in sporting excellence, collaborative design, or material experimentation — reflects a brand unafraid to challenge convention while honoring its own legacy. At LVMH Watch Week, Hublot doesn’t merely present watches; it defines the future rhythm of luxury watchmaking.
