For their 11th collection, design duo Ev Bravado and Téla D’Amore of Who Decides War presented “Read the Room,” a powerful Spring/Summer 2026 narrative that explores the quiet beauty found in collapse and the inevitable promise of regrowth.

The collection’s aesthetic is built on a foundation of tension and reconstruction. Silhouettes danced between structured tailoring and fluid drape, featuring layers that felt deliberately fractured and rebuilt. This theme was echoed in the textures: distressed fabrics, raw edges, and visible seams juxtaposed heavy and fragile materials, highlighting a continuous cycle of erosion and renewal.

The color palette charted this emotional journey, opening in a landscape of dust, ash, and charred black—the colors of collapse. It then moved through the rusty, oxidized tones of ruins before finally blooming into soft greens and floral hues, symbolizing a resilient resurgence.

Details throughout underscored the narrative. Materials resembled cracks and roots, while draping mimicked collapsing structures, all pointing to a central tension between decay and reconstruction. The collection asked the audience to "read the room" and identify the potential for new growth within the fragments of what remains.

The experience was elevated by a live set from Grammy-winning artist Leon Thomas, who crafted a sonic journey that mirrored the collection's arc—bridging collapse, reflection, and resurgence—further immersing guests in the world of Who Decides War.
