A. SOCIETY unveils A. LAB – Silver & Gold, a striking new capsule collection that signals a fresh chapter in the brand’s ongoing exploration of precious materials, form, and cultural influence. Rooted in artistic inquiry and architectural precision, the release sets the tone for A. LAB’s future as a boundary-pushing platform within the A. SOCIETY universe.

A. LAB: An Experimental Platform for Material Innovation

Conceived as A. SOCIETY’s experimental research arm, A. LAB serves as a space where diverse materials, advanced techniques, and cross-disciplinary inspirations converge. The debut capsule highlights the transformative potential of sterling silver and 18K gold-plated sterling silver, using their tactile weight and reflective properties to reimagine what eyewear can express. Architectural cues and urban textures shape the collection’s aesthetic identity, resulting in frames that blur the line between object and environment—wearable expressions of the cities that inspire them.

As A. LAB evolves, future releases will continue to expand this conversation with new materials, processes, and collaborations.

Building on a Legacy of Cultural Reference

Following A. SOCIETY’s first sterling silver collection created in partnership with M+ Museum, Hong Kong and the I.M. Pei Foundation, this new capsule pushes the dialogue further. It bridges contemporary eyewear with landmark works of art and architecture, translating the structural rhythm of global skylines—Hong Kong’s density, Mexico City’s layered geometries, and beyond—into frames with a quiet yet commanding architectural presence.

The result is eyewear that feels bold but balanced, sculptural yet attuned to everyday wear.

Inspired by J.J. Beljon and Monumental Geometry

Central to A. LAB – Silver & Gold is the influence of Dutch artist and architect J.J. (Joop) Beljon, whose monumental works redefine the relationship between sculpture, public space, and the urban condition. His iconic ensemble Tertulia de Gigantes, located in Mexico City, serves as the collection’s conceptual anchor.

Beljon’s site-specific interventions—defined by scale, geometry, and an acute sensitivity to landscape—inform the capsule’s design language. The frames’ tips, temples, and front silhouettes echo the bold geometric motifs and Mesoamerican architectural references found in the artist’s installations. These influences translate into eyewear with a distinctive architectural clarity, grounding each piece in both cultural memory and modern design.

The Result

A capsule that merges precision and poetry—architectural yet human, sculptural yet effortless, luxurious yet grounded in thoughtful craftsmanship.
With A. LAB – Silver & Gold, A. SOCIETY plots a new course for experimental eyewear, one where art, architecture, and material mastery converge into objects of lasting resonance.
