Boston-based fashion house Arth Atelier is redefining contemporary luxury this fall with garments that combine heritage craftsmanship, modern design, and unprecedented transparency. Founded by Tamanna Malhotra Mullen, a first-generation Indian immigrant, the brand is guided by three pillars—art, craft, and impact—while rooted in an East-meets-West philosophy.

Each piece celebrates India’s rich artisanal traditions, particularly the intricate hand embroidery that requires up to 23 hours of Aari work, a centuries-old technique passed down through generations. At the same time, Arth Atelier advances a farm-to-closet model with a short, sustainable supply chain. Through QR code-enabled provenance journeys, customers can trace the full lifecycle of their garments, from raw fiber to final tailoring.

Highlights from the fall collection include the Hand-Embroidered Organic Wool Blazer Luxe ($595) and Straight-Leg Trousers Luxe ($395), crafted from organic wool ethically sourced in Argentina, woven in the Czech Republic, and hand-finished in India. Similarly, the Hand-Embroidered Organic Wool Blazer ($495) and Trousers ($325) follow the same global journey of craft and care.

New this season, the Hand-Embroidered Organic Wool Cardigan ($475) begins on NATIVA™-certified farms in Italy, where strict animal welfare and sustainability standards are maintained. The wool is processed in Bologna, knitted in Carpi, and finally embroidered in New Delhi, merging Italian expertise with Indian artistry.

By blending traceability with timeless craftsmanship, Arth Atelier is setting a new benchmark for transparency in luxury fashion while spotlighting India’s influence on the global industry.
