I’m Anastasiia Amorim, a travel blogger and fashion lover. I recently visited Tel Aviv and Jaffa. The city is bright, busy, and full of life. I landed with new gear from Horizon Studios, a brand I trust for light and smart travel items. My new Re Series suitcase joined me on this trip, helping me stay organized and stylish on the road.

PS. Do you know it’s made of CD’s?  Horizon Studios makes travel easier with practical bags and hand luggage that moved with me to more than 20 different destinations. It felt natural to start this journey with them by my side.

Here are the places that stayed with me, the feelings they gave me, and why I think you should visit them too.

Bellboy, 14 Berdichevsky St, Tel Aviv — A Little Time Travel

Bellboy is a quiet bar in Tel Aviv. Inside, it feels like stepping back to the 1930s. There is swing music, and staff in neat outfits. The room has comfy sofas and wooden tables. The drinks are well made, with many craft options. And yes, the free oyster-shot rounds are a funny nod to the past.

Rabbi Yohanan St, Yafo — A Street Full of Life

Rabbi Yohanan is a lively street in Yafo. The old buildings, trees, and a busy market give the place real character. It’s a nice walk to see the scene change as you go. If you’re thirsty, stop at Margoza Bar for a drink outside. If you’re hungry, Puaa Café serves Israeli classics that feel familiar.

Neve Tzedek, Tel Aviv — A Fairy-Tale Neighbourhood

Neve Tzedek looks like a storybook town. The colourful houses, flowers everywhere, and small shops invite you to explore. The old Ottoman railway adds extra charm. It’s a great place to stroll and take photos. I finished with gelato at Anita—perfect for a sweet ending 🍦

Gag Yafo / Jaffa Rooftop, 13 Amiad St, Yafo — A View to Remember

The rooftop at Gag Yafo gives a wonderful wide view of Yafo, the port, and the sea. Sit with a drink or small plates and enjoy the view from above. It makes the city feel calm and big at the same time.

Hiba, 144 Begin Rd, Tel Aviv — Fine Dining with Tel Aviv Spirit

Tel Aviv has a strong food scene. Hiba shows this well, mixing traditional flavours with modern cooking. Chef Yossi Shitrit brings high quality and careful technique. If you want a meal that feels special but still comfortable, this is a good choice.

Loullie Beach Club, Gordon Beach, Tel Aviv — Beach Luxury

Loullie makes the beach feel fancy, like a European resort. Soft couches, places to lie in the sun, good music, and tasty drinks. It’s a place to relax and enjoy the sea.

And it’s the best place to take fancy bikini pictures for your Insta.

Kosem, 1 Shlomo HaMelekh St, Tel Aviv — A Kitchen That Feels Magical

Kosem serves falafel and shawarma with a special touch. The falafel can be vegan, and the shawarma is very tender. It’s a Tel Aviv staple done very well.

Carmel Market, Tel Aviv — The City’s Heartbeat

Carmel Market is one of Tel Aviv’s most famous markets. It’s been buzzing for decades and is the city’s beating heart on the weekend. Here you’ll find a mix of fresh fruits and vegetables, spices, breads, ready-to-eat foods, clothes, and small crafts. The market is known for its bright colours, lively chatter, and the friendly bargaining that happens all around. It’s a place where locals and visitors mingle, taste, and discover new finds from morning until night.

A true story:

A few friends from Tel Aviv showed me a smart trick at Carmel Market. We were walking the stalls and I bought a watermelon slushie that seemed a bit pricey. The local seller told me he wouldn’t discount at first, but he would refund if I found a cheaper one somewhere in the market. My friends and I walked from stall to stall, comparing prices. I filmed a quick video where I was offered a lower price, I came back to where I’ve bought the watermelon, showed the video and… and he refunded me the full amount!! On top of it the seller has lowered the price for watermelon to match the other guy 😄

So, don’t be afraid to bargain. This is the market and it might feel pretty entertaining to shop here:)

Fairouz Café, 5 Louis Pasteur St, Yafo — A Mix of Cultures

Fairouz Café shows Yafo’s diverse culture. It’s a nice spot for coffee and kanfeh. The outdoor terrace is pleasant, and you can try a shisha if you like.

I personally don’t smoke and I don’t promote it, but if we talk about once in a lifetime experience, why not?

Teder.fm, Romano House, 9 Derech Jaffa, Tel Aviv — A Night You Won’t Forget

Tel Aviv nights are lively, and Teder.fm is special. A van acts as a live radio studio with DJs from around the world. The building becomes a dance floor with bars and a pizza place inside. It’s a unique experience. You should try it!

Kerem HaTeimanin Neighborhood, Tel Aviv — A Little Bar Crawl

This area has narrow streets, fairy lights, and cozy bars. It’s a nice place to wander and pick small spots for a drink. Try Norman, Samantha’s, Lyla TLV, Rabenu 40, Beer Bazaar, Minzar Bar, and more.

And guys, please don’t forget your camera, the place looks authentic and picturesque. There’re some really good spots out there.

Sarona Market, 3 Aluf Kalman Magen St, Tel Aviv — A Taste Preview

Sarona Market offers a mix of foods in one place. Pop-up restaurants, small shops, and an atmosphere that blends old charm with modern style. Don’t miss the famous Majdool dates.

You can visit my Instagram @anastasiiaamorim and see all these beautiful posts that I’ve uploaded after my unforgettable trip to Israel.

This trip to Israel was my first, and it surprised me with its energy, beauty, and warmth. I’m an adventurous traveller and fashion blogger, Tel Aviv and Jaffa showed me a world I eager to return to. I left Israel earlier than my friends, and later they all visited the Dead Sea and absolutely loved it. Seeing their stories made me even more excited to go back and experience the sea with them someday.

Thank you to Pixel Tel Aviv, A New York inspired playful, artistic boutique hotel with cool flair and a super central location for hosting me during my trip. They offer a Spa and a beautiful rooftop.

PS. Seeing the city pass by from the balcony is a fun experience.

What I’m dreaming of for the next visit:

The Dead Sea: floating in mineral-rich waters and enjoying the unique mud.

The Red Sea: a future extension to experience its clear waters and marine life.

More of Tel Aviv’s neighbourhoods: Neve Tzedek again, Florentin’s street art, and the coastline at sunrise.

The Gulf of Eilat and more of Israel’s coastline, for a true sea-focused journey.

Israel feels like a small country with a huge heartbeat. It blends ancient places with modern life, colours in markets, golden-hour beaches, and food that tells many cultures’ stories. I’m grateful for every moment and ready to plan the next voyage to this magnificent land.
