ThriftCon, the nation’s premier vintage clothing and collectibles convention, opened its 2026 season in Atlanta with a record-breaking turnout that brought together more than 12,000 attendees and over 200 vendors, solidifying its reputation as a cultural nexus where fashion, music, and community converge.

What began as a resale-focused marketplace has evolved into a full-scale cultural convention, positioning ThriftCon as “More Than a Market” — a multi-layered ecosystem that celebrates commerce, creativity, and cultural discovery. From rare collector pieces to emerging upcycle designers, the Atlanta event spanned 100,000 square feet of curated vintage shopping, complete with interactive experiences, live performances, and thought leadership panels.

A marquee moment of the day was ThriftConversations: The Art of Curation & The Business of Great Taste, a live panel moderated by ThriftCon Co-Founder Mars Conte. Featuring Lil Yachty, Casshyvee, Iconikki, Cey Kim, and Maurii.ce,the discussion explored how creators translate taste into influence and influence into business, reflecting ThriftCon’s role as an incubator for the next generation of tastemakers.

Earlier, the Ying Yang Twins energized the floor with a live performance and meet-and-greet, demonstrating the seamless crossover between music and fashion that Atlanta has long championed. Their set created a multigenerational pulse that reverberated across collectors, creatives, and casual attendees alike.

The vendor lineup further exemplified ThriftCon’s dual mission: bringing rare, collector-grade pieces to high-end shoppers while offering discovery-driven zones at accessible price points for newcomers. Notable participants included comedian and streamer Funny Marco and Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, bridging the worlds of celebrity influence and vintage culture.

“ThriftCon is more than a market,” said Ken Meade, Co-Founder of ThriftCon. “It’s where collectors, creators, and community come together in real life. Atlanta has always been a natural home for that. The city’s deep roots in music, fashion, and media make it one of the most exciting and successful markets for this experience to be shared.”

Following Atlanta, ThriftCon’s 2026 tour moves to Miami on April 4th, kicking off a 10-city route through cultural hotspots including Brooklyn, Los Angeles, New Orleans, and Houston — a testament to the convention’s ongoing mission to unite collectors, creators, and fans of vintage culture across the country.

ThriftCon™ is the nation’s premier vintage clothing and collectible convention. Since its founding in 2019, the platform has grown into a touring cultural festival, celebrating the intersection of fashion, resale, and community. ThriftCon™ brings together collectors, vendors, designers, and enthusiasts from across the U.S., offering a marketplace that is as much about connection as it is about commerce.
