NikeSKIMS Returns with Drop 2: Evolving the Fusion of Sport and Style
By PAGE Editor
NikeSKIMS is back, pushing the boundaries of activewear with the launch of its highly anticipated Drop 2. Arriving on November 13, this new collection expands upon the brand's distinct "system of dress," offering endless ways to mix, layer, and move. Merging Nike’s legacy of performance innovation with SKIMS’ renowned obsession with fit and form, the latest drop delivers sculpting, versatile pieces designed to transition seamlessly from studio to street, and from low-impact to high-performance activities.
This season’s launch is the brand's most comprehensive yet, spanning an impressive seven collections and 65 silhouettes. The offering builds on its successful debut by introducing new materials, seasonal colorways, and for the first time, a range of accessories designed to complete the head-to-toe wardrobe. This includes socks, waist packs, and training gloves, all reinforcing the collection's ethos of versatile styling without compromise.
The core material collections—Shine, Matte, and Airy—return with fresh innovations. The Shine collection introduces a bold new Colorblock capsule with high-contrast panels. The Matte line continues to deliver compression and smoothing with Nike Dri-FIT technology across 23 sculpting silhouettes. Meanwhile, the Airy range offers breathable, mesh-inspired pieces in both fitted and oversized styles for effortless layering. Timed for the colder months, Drop 2 also unveils Woven Nylon, a new category of relaxed third layers led by a functional and soft Wrap Coat, designed for movement and style over any activewear ensemble.
The new designs are brought to life in a powerful holiday campaign that celebrates collective female strength. Spotlighting world-class speed skaters Maame Biney, Kamryn Lute, Kristen Santos-Griswold, and Courtney Sarault on a custom NikeSKIMS rink, the campaign draws a direct line between the power, precision, and grace of elite athletes and the brand's aesthetic. Captured in striking stills by Daniel Shea and motion by Madison McKamey, the campaign celebrates movement in all its forms, channeling the dynamic energy of the upcoming Winter Games. A complementary lookbook by Hugh Wilson further showcases the cohesive NikeSKIMS system of dress, where sport and style are presented as inseparable.
