Initially created by Ian Fleming in 1953, James Bond has been around for almost 70 years. With the first 007 film appearing on screen in 1962, generations of film-goers have enjoyed regular instalments of the super spy and his adventures.

James Bond was deliberately created to be alluring with his incredibly sophisticated sense of fashion, his smooth conversation, and debonair good looks. The storylines wouldn't have been so believable without such an attractive spy to wheedle secrets out of the gorgeous women!

The popularity of James Bond shows no sign of waning with the 2021 release of No Time to Die, the final film featuring Daniel Craig as James Bond. While rumours continue to swirl about who might be taking his place, the debate about who made the best Bond still rages on.

Many couples have a "hall pass" agreement where should the opportunity arise; they're allowed to have a fling with a famous person. Research has revealed that not only would many women nominate James Bond for their hall pass, but 40% would trade their partner in completely!

The list of James Bond actors to choose between is impressive: Sean Connery, Roger Moore, Daniel Craig, Pierce Brosnan, Timothy Dalton, George Lazenby and David Niven.

According to the survey, it's a close-run thing about who comes out on top, but the outgoing James Bond, Daniel Craig, wins by a whisker.

Of course, many won't agree with the outcome as it's fair to say that all the James Bond actors convey an inimitable charm. Whether it's the sharp suits, the confidence or the raw masculinity, there's something about Bond that is just irresistible!

Part of the appeal of James Bond is the glamorous settings he appears in, and his ability to manage every occasion with effortless elegance. No matter how sophisticated his surroundings, Bond always seems to know exactly what to do, whether it's planning an escape or ordering a drink from a passing waiter.

You don't need to be a Bond fan to know that he enjoys a martini, shaken, not stirred, a catchphrase that's repeated in every film. Such is the strength of Bond's brand, every product that he's associated with enjoys a hike in sales after the release of a new film.
