Dsquared2 Fall/Winter 2026: Coming to the Edge, Running on Water
By PAGE Editor
This is a new era for Dsquared2—one defined by return and reinvention. A reunion with its essence, sharpened by clarity and propelled by vision, the brand steps forward from fog into light. Fall/Winter 2026 is not about nostalgia, but momentum: a decisive moment where instinct, technology, and emotion converge to map what lies ahead.
The show unfolds as an immersive experience, underscored by a custom AI-generated soundtrack that translates feeling into sound. Built from the designers’ current state of mind, the music becomes an emotional register—raw, charged, and forward-looking—marking a pivotal inflection point in Dean and Dan Caten’s creative journey. Experimentation is the pulse here: modern, technical, and unapologetically future-facing.
Rooted in the founders’ Canadian origins, Dsquared2’s unapologetic spirit hits the slopes with full force. Fall/Winter 2026 is a high-octane celebration of cold-weather culture, filtered through sports, fantasy, performance, and swagger. The mountains become both setting and symbol—places of extremity, endurance, and freedom—where identity is sharpened by speed and ice.
Characters emerge like icons cresting a frozen peak, each with a distinct presence. Fueled by winter-sport adrenaline and subcultural codes, the boys wear hockey jerseys, ski underpinnings, outsized puffers, and ‘70s-referencing après-ski knits, all remixed through Dsquared2’s signature uncompromising energy. It’s functional dressing pushed to theatrical extremes.
Protection becomes attitude. Gigantic puffer jackets swallow oversized suits, while monumental parkas envelop ski champions-in-the-making clad in racing suits, knit long johns, and cropped turtlenecks inspired by competition bibs. Padded vests and biker jackets inject defiance, paired with flared leather pants that add movement and edge. Warmth is power; scale is statement.
The Canadian rodeo spirit charges uphill in fiercely tactile textures: voluminous coats, teddy jackets, padded nylon chaps, and bare torsos exposed to the cold with deliberate bravado. Frosted denim shimmers with sequins, lined in shearling for trucker jackets and coats worn by boys as hot as ice. The looks are grounded by mash-up, square-toed leather ring boots, detailed with alpine and ski-ready elements that blur fashion and function.
Girls claim the same terrain at full speed, appearing as unabashed, galactic rule-breakers. Outerwear turns futuristic: corseted mini dresses built from stacked puffers, hockey-inspired cropped jackets with matching denim and nylon piping pants, and sculptural, skin-baring bustiers worn with leggings and wedge ski boots. The effect is cyberpunk and sensual, bold and kinetic. High-shine latex sculpts the body into a tailored silhouette, while a silky nylon off-shoulder bomber with a furry shawl collar channels icy glamour, finished with a statement furry hat that crowns the look with drama.
Accessories underscore the collection’s fusion of heritage and innovation. The debut of #D2speed hybrid eyewear—developed in collaboration with Carrera—celebrates sport lineage through a modern lens. Inspired by 1970s vintage ski goggles, the special-edition design features a cutting-edge magnetic system that clips on and off, replacing traditional temples with a Dsquared2 x Carrera–branded elastic band. Available in black, white, and red, it’s performance reimagined as style.
As the snow settles, Dsquared2 figures cut through the cold with fearless intent—shaped by ice, speed, and desire. This is fashion at full throttle, riding the edge with no hesitation and no stopping.
