Piet x KidSuper: Where Craftsmanship, Art, and Football Culture Converge

Piet and KidSuper unite for the first time in a collaboration rooted in friendship, craftsmanship, and creative trust, marking a significant moment for both brands. Founded by Pedro Andrade, Piet joins forces with KidSuper, the Brooklyn-based label led by artist and designer Colm Dillane, in a partnership that predates any formal agreement—one built on mutual respect and a shared belief in experimentation as the foundation of design.

At the heart of the collection is a contemporary understanding of craftsmanship: the seamless integration of manual labor, technical development, and textile innovation. KidSuper brings its unmistakable artistic language—hand-painted illustrations, expressive faces, camouflage motifs, and playful football references—while Piet anchors the collaboration with its proprietary techniques, including manual crochet, advanced 3D knitting, embroidered constructions, and meticulously engineered textile developments.

The collection’s creation unfolded in a decentralized and organic way. Dillane shared artworks and visual cues from afar, while Piet’s team translated these ideas through rigorous material testing, garment construction, and technical problem-solving. Decisions were made remotely and intuitively, underscoring a level of trust so deep that Dillane saw the completed pieces just one day before their runway debut in Paris this past January.

The final result is a cohesive convergence of both identities. KidSuper’s artwork is embedded into the garments through Piet-developed processes, ensuring that every piece carries Piet’s signature precision in pattern-making, finishing, and textile construction. The debut campaign, starring Brazilian football legend Zé Roberto, reinforces the collection’s athletic undertones and global perspective, positioning the collaboration as both a celebration of craft and a testament to what can be achieved when creative freedom and trust lead the design process.
