Adidas Originals and Willy Chavarria unveil their Spring/Summer 2026 collection, marking a bold new chapter in an ongoing collaboration rooted in cultural authenticity, emotional storytelling, and uncompromising design. Infused with Chavarria’s unmistakable sensibility and adidas Originals’ heritage DNA, the SS26 offering moves with intention—where expressive silhouettes, elevated materials, and powerful symbolism converge.
The apparel collection is defined by oversized proportions, rich fabrications, and purposeful detailing that communicate both visual impact and emotional weight. Standout pieces include the Chavarria Mockneck, crafted from heavy cotton fleece and finished with stacked embroidered Trefoils and a high-density print of Chavarria’s name at the collar. The Chavarria Chicano Sweatshirt serves as a deeply personal statement, featuring embroidered “CHICANO” lettering, a puff-printed eagle emblem on the chest, and a woven Trefoil with Mexican flag appliqué on the back—an homage to heritage and identity.
Further elevating the lineup, the Chavarria Halfzip combines cotton fleece with satin overlays and rose embroidery, while the Chavarria Satin Bomber delivers a fully padded, oversized silhouette in satin twill with metal zippers and branded pullers. The limited-edition Chavarria Leather Bomber pushes athletic wear into luxury territory with applied 3-Stripes and contrast piping, and the Chavarria Zip-Off Pant introduces layered textures and convertible functionality, reinforcing Chavarria’s signature visual language—intentional, unfiltered, and powerful.
Footwear continues the dialogue between refinement and rebellion, with each silhouette designed through elevated materials and considered detailing. The Chavarria Forum Boot, available in mid and low iterations, channels utilitarian sophistication through sculpted forms, premium leather uppers, archival adidas tooling, high-traction outsoles, and protective toe and heel caps built for durability. The Chavarria Forum reimagines the classic with modern minimalism and subtle luxury, featuring a premium leather upper, rose-branded tongue, Chavarria aglet laces, gold-foil Willy Chavarria insignia, and collaborative strap detailing.
Returning as a cultural touchstone, the Chavarria Jabbar Low arrives in four colorways, blending athletic lineage with Chavarria’s distinctive aesthetic. Crafted with a premium leather upper and molded leather sockliner, the silhouette is finished with gold-foiled “KAREEM” and “WILLY” callouts on opposing shoes, and a folded tongue showcasing the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar logo on the front with Willy Chavarria branding on the reverse.
“This is about the beautiful tension between where we come from and where we’re destined to go,” Chavarria shares. “It blends grit with a refined athletic elegance, mixed with toughness and dignity. A uniform for anyone who had to earn their place in the world.”
The SS26 campaign further amplifies this message, serving as a tribute to identity, pride, and cultural resonance. Shot at a Boys & Girls Club in Mexico City, the campaign features an all-Latino cast and crew under the direction of a Latino-led creative team. Drawing from elements of Chicano culture through Chavarria’s personal lens, the visuals celebrate self-expression, motion, and dance—capturing the energy of community and the power of representation.
The adidas Originals x Willy Chavarria Spring/Summer 2026 collection launches December 12 and will be available at select adidas stores, via the adidas CONFIRMED app, on willychavarria.com, adidas.com/willy_chavarria, and at select global retailers.
