Aion 2 Items Guide: What to Keep, Sell, or Upgrade
By PAGE Editor
In Aion 2, your progress is not just about leveling. It is about making smart decisions with your items. Many players lose a lot of value because they upgrade the wrong gear, sell materials too early, or ignore items that become important later.
If you manage your inventory carefully, you will save a lot of Kinah and avoid rebuilding your gear from scratch.
If you want to focus on the gameplay and save yourself the grind, you can always safely buy Aion 2 items from U4N to keep your progression smooth and efficient.
What to KEEP
1. Amplified Stones
Do not sell these early.
Amplified Stones are used in advanced crafting and high-level enhancement systems. Early on, they may not look important. Later, they become hard to find and expensive to buy.
Even if you do not need them right now, store them in your warehouse. Their value usually increases as more players reach the endgame.
Think long term with these.
2. Gold Gear (Unique Rarity)
If you get gold gear from dungeons, do not rush to sell or extract it.
Gold (Unique) gear is useful for stat rerolling, especially when it becomes soul-bound. Even if the stats are not perfect, you can reuse the item to adjust builds later.
Many players make the mistake of breaking down gold gear too early. Later, they regret it when they need pieces for optimization.
Unless you are absolutely sure you will never use it, keep it.
3. Feathers and Monolith Feathers
Feathers are extremely important for upgrading your belt and amulet.
These two accessories are different from normal gear. They cannot be tapped the same way as armor or weapons. Their upgrades require feathers and related materials.
If your goal is high gear score (2400+), upgrading these is not optional.
Until your amulet and belt are fully upgraded, do not waste feathers.
After maxing them, extra feathers can be exchanged — but early on, hoard them.
4. Aion 2 Kinah
It sounds obvious, but many players treat Kinah like it is unlimited.
Do not.
Kinah disappears fast through small mistakes:
Over-upgrading low-level gear
Buying overpriced materials
Rushing enhancements
Before spending, ask: Will I still use this item in two weeks?
If the answer is no, do not spend your Kinah on it.
If you find yourself short on currency after avoiding these mistakes, some players choose to buy Aion 2 Kinah from established platforms like U4N, but even then, steady spending habits and clear upgrade priorities matter far more than simply increasing your balance.
5. Selentium
Selentium is used in supply requests and helps you gain additional Abyss Points.
Abyss Points matter for long-term progression, especially in PvP and faction rewards.
Even if you are focused on PvE right now, do not ignore Selentium. Store it and use it strategically.
What to SELL or EXCHANGE
Not everything deserves storage space.
Clearing junk properly is part of smart progression.
1. Low-Level or Common Gear
If it is:
Low rarity
From early zones
Easily replaceable
Sell or extract it.
Do not enhance level 20–30 gear heavily. You will replace it quickly once you enter level 45 content.
Upgrading early gear is one of the biggest Kinah traps in Aion 2.
2. Excess Feathers (After Maxing Accessories)
Once your belt and amulet are fully upgraded, feathers lose priority.
At that point, exchange extra feathers for enhancement stones or other useful materials.
But only do this after finishing your core accessory upgrades.
3. Unnecessary Crafting Materials
Crafting high-tier gear requires large amounts of lower-tier materials.
However, not all materials are equal.
If you are not planning to craft a certain gear line, selling extra low-value materials can help your Kinah balance.
Do not hoard everything blindly. Keep what you need for your build path.
What to UPGRADE First
Now let's talk about priority.
Upgrading randomly is expensive. Upgrade in the correct order.
1. Belt and Amulet (Top Priority)
These are permanent pieces.
They cannot be replaced easily, and they scale well with upgrades.
Aim for at least Unique +10.
Upgrading these improves:
Damage
Survivability
Overall gear score
Because they stay with you long term, investing here is safe.
2. Level 45+ Dungeon Gear
Once you hit level 45, focus on real endgame preparation.
Two important dungeon sets:
Bakarma gear
Guardian Decanus accessories
Farm these and upgrade them instead of random world drops.
These sets are worth your resources because they are part of proper endgame builds.
Do not waste enhancement stones on temporary filler gear once you reach this stage.
3. Weapons
Weapon upgrades give immediate damage improvement.
If you must choose between:
Minor armor upgrade
Weapon enhancement
Weapon usually gives better value for farming speed.
Faster clears = more loot = more Kinah.
But do not over-tap recklessly. Failed upgrades can destroy your budget quickly.
Endgame Setup Goals
A stable mid-to-late game setup looks like this:
Bakarma armor
Guardian Decanus accessories
Upgraded belt and amulet
Weapon enhanced to a comfortable level
You do not need perfect stats immediately.
Focus on stability first, then optimization.
Dungeon Farming Advice
Sealed dungeons are important.
Farm them for:
Debinion crystals
Enhancement stones
Gold gear
Do not just run dungeons for XP. Run them with item goals in mind.
If you are farming randomly without a target, you waste time.
Know what drop you want before entering.
Crafting Awareness
Crafting higher-tier gear requires a surprising number of lower-tier materials.
Before selling everything, check:
What your future recipe needs
How many materials are required
Sometimes a “useless” material becomes expensive later because players suddenly need hundreds of them.
Inventory management is about balance — not hoarding everything, but not dumping everything either.
Common Item Mistakes to Avoid
Upgrading early green gear too much
Selling gold gear without thinking
Ignoring accessory upgrades
Burning Kinah on market hype
Extracting materials you will need later
Most item problems are not about bad luck. They come from impatience.
