The crisp mountain air, the thrill of the descent, and the warm, convivial glow of the chalet afterwards—these are the moments that define the winter season. Now, imagine navigating this entire experience wrapped in a fusion of peak performance and Parisian chic. This winter, the highly anticipated collaboration between global sportswear giant Nike and French fashion house Jacquemus returns, this time setting its sights on the snow-covered peaks with the Nike x Jacquemus Après Ski Collection.

Launching just in time for the season, this 18-piece apparel collection is designed to bridge the gap between the demanding needs of the slopes and the effortless style of the après-ski scene. It’s a proposition that promises uncompromising performance for skiers and snowboarders, delivered with the subversive, fashion-forward sensibility that is quintessentially Jacquemus.

A Passion Project Rooted in Nostalgia

For Simon Porte Jacquemus, the creative force behind the namesake label, this collection is a deeply personal endeavor. “I have always been a fan of skiing: It’s my favorite sport and has been my favorite winter getaway since I was young,” he shares. “Ski attire has always fascinated me, and I’m a big collector of vintage ’80s ski pieces. This collection with Nike is an opportunity for me to bring a new fashion story into our collaboration and into the ski community, which is a first for me.”

This passion is palpable in the collection’s design, which channels a playful yet sophisticated alpine spirit. It’s not just about braving the elements; it’s about looking impeccable while doing so, whether you're carving down a black diamond run or enjoying a slope-side cocktail.

Where Technical Innovation Meets Tailored Design

At the heart of the collection lies a commitment to technical excellence. The centerpiece pieces are the triple-layer GORE-TEX jackets and pants, engineered to withstand everything from a sudden snowstorm to a windy chairlift ride.

The men’s two-in-one GORE-TEX jacket is a masterclass in functional design. It features an exterior water- and windproof shell with exquisite tailoring, combined with a zip-in interior bomber jacket insulated with Primaloft®. The women’s offering reinterprets this performance with a tailored construction that echoes a signature Jacquemus silhouette, proving that technical wear can be both powerful and elegantly shaped. The complementary GORE-TEX pants complete the ensemble, offering robust weather protection in a stylish cut, complete with removable jacquard straps and signature ‘J’ belt loops.

“Working with technical fabrics, learning from the best, and bringing forward a minimal and modern execution was a super interesting process for me, in the Jacquemus way,” Simon notes.

Beyond the Jacket: A Complete Alpine Wardrobe

The collection thoughtfully rounds out the alpine experience with pieces designed for versatility and style.

For women, a sleek woven jumpsuit in a soft, stretchy, and water-repellent fabric offers a one-and-done solution for a day on the mountain. A versatile stirrup legging features an ultra-high waist and elegant design lines, ensuring a flawless silhouette from boots to bralette. Speaking of which, a lightweight, breathable bralette with a curved hem provides the perfect foundational layer.

For men, the collection includes a long-sleeve top with mitten-ready thumb holes, ideal as a standalone piece or a insulating mid-layer. The classic Jacquemus men’s shirt is also reimagined for the mountains, crafted from a water-repellent fabric and adorned with a back ‘J’ loop and chest pocket.

The Evolution of a Visionary Partnership

The Après Ski collection builds upon the longstanding and fruitful partnership between Nike and Jacquemus. Since their first collaboration in 2022, the duo has consistently blurred the lines between elevated fashion and athletic readiness. Their journey has included the iconic Le Swoosh bag, a Paris-inspired summer 2024 collection, and a recent reimagination of Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman’s hand-built Moon Shoe.

With this new alpine-focused chapter, they continue to prove that performance and high fashion are not mutually exclusive but can be woven together to create something truly unique for the modern athlete—because, as Nike believes, if you have a body, you are an athlete.
