Establishing a certain routine will make your life so much simpler. Just keep reminding yourself how much time you spend on decision-making, even when you need to make the smallest decisions.
This whole process isn’t only time-consuming, but stressful as well, especially if there are a lot of things that need to be carefully thought through. In contrast, when you have a routine, you become a lot more focused because much of the decision-making process is practically completed.
You are no longer as overwhelmed because you know upfront what you'll do each day. It's different for everyone. For starters, you should write them all down in your notebook or calendar and make sure to follow through with them, and you'll see over time how you'll get used to implementing them.

When a person doesn't have consistent sleep, it can seriously negatively impact their mental health, making them more nervous, susceptible to stress, anxious, and emotionally reactive. On the flip side, when a healthy sleep routine is established, stress levels are lowered and mood is a lot more improved.
Now, no one has ever said that establishing a routine is going to be easy and that it can occur overnight. Just like most things, it takes time, but it's important to do it at some point if you want to preserve your mental health.
